Contravention of APRASSA's code of ethics, after due process, may result in suspension of membership.
APRASSA thus maintains high standards of Plastic Surgery in SA. We run an annual congress, workshops, journal clubs, educational and mentorship programs. We liaise with medical aids, the health professions council of SA, hospital associations and other medical bodies.
APRASSA undertakes to attain and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
The Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Southern Africa was formed in 1956 and currently has 169 members. The mission of the Association is to support its members in their efforts to provide the highest quality patient care and attain and maintain professional and ethical standards.
